Through the gnosis of these realities comes the "expansion of the breast" (inshirah al-sadr) and liberation from the yoke of captivity [of ignorance].

His radiance is manifest to His followers, And His Person stands [fixed] before the eyes of the ranks.

You see Him as a represented Light, eternally

Subject neither to setting nor to eclipse.

'Represented' (Mumathalan): Means manifest or standing upright. 'Eternally' (Abadan): Throughout all time; He is never affected by eclipse, setting, transformation, or displacement.

From You emerged the outward [aspect] of the Attributes,

And every good comes from You.

His saying 'From You emerged the outward of the Attributes' means: That the manifest attributes and the Form are Your Form and Your Attribute, and they are not other than You; while simultaneously [maintaining] His transcendence above attributes, forms, and whatever may occur to the mind.

O Unique One, who cannot be encompassed,

Neither by attributes nor by Essence.

Your Face is my Qibla [direction] toward which I pray,

From all other directions.
