Inwardly: It is the Primordial Nature (Fitrat Allah) and His Visual Form through whose manifestation His Name was honored, as in

His attribute: {'The dye of God; and who is better than God in dyeing?' }1 .

A Light of Divinity (Lahut), Unique and Eternal

Singular and Pre-eternal, possessing a Great Veil.

'A Light of Divinity': This is an explanatory apposition ('atf bayan) to the 'Light' mentioned in the previous verse; as if he intended by 'Light' the Visual, Existing Form.

'Manifestation' and 'Divinity': This is the Inaccessible, Hidden Ghayb (Unseen), without partition or separation.

'The Great Veil': refers to the Luminous Form... etc.

They know no God to follow

Except gestures toward the Void and the Clouds."

The verse serves as a denunciation of those who believe in the negation of seeing Him—the Almighty—in this world. He [the commentator] continues: The verse also contains a rebuttal against those of the Munasifa sect who point [only] toward the Ghayb (the Unseen), as they deny the existence of the Light while affirming only the Human Form.'
