Since knowing the Primordial is beyond your ability, you are not held accountable except for the gnosis of the Form through which He manifests as your [human] kind.'
'This is an exhaustive explanation. We ask God for success through His grace and mercy; verily, He is the Generous and Kind.'
From the Treatise of Abu al-Khayr, Sheikh Salama bin Ahmad al-Hadda:
He says: 'My Master and Sheikh, Abu al-Husayn Muhammad bin Hamid al-Sarraj (may God be pleased with him), addressed me in the year 378 AH. He mentions that he met many brothers from Aleppo, Tripoli, Egypt, Tabaraniyya, and the Levant, naming many of them. Explaining his creed, he says:
"I disassociate myself before God from anyone who claims that the Visual Form is [merely] a Veil for the Meaning (al-Ma’na), or that the Meaning is something other than it. May the curse of God and the cursers be upon whoever says or believes this!
Rather, I say and believe that the Visual Form—as our Master al-Khasibi stated in his treatise—is He (hiya huwa) in terms of affirmation, existence, vision, and certainty; yet He is not she (la huwa hiya) in terms of being a whole, a collection, encompassment, or confinement."
