Know that the niche is the visible Anza’iyyah form, and the lamp what was hidden of light, and it is radiance; and the shadow is what I mentioned to you; and the glass which as if a pearly star is the light which appeared from the Essence; and the tree from which it’s lit is the Essence, because it is not limited nor described. And every olive is the Truth; neither eastern nor western; because it is not described by where nor by how, nor is it in the east so the west is void of it, nor is it in west so the east is void of it; rather it is in all generally. Its oil almost glows, even if no fire touched it, because fire is denial from the dark rejecting world; because it is light upon light; I mean the form they thought was human, while it is the light of radiance and shadow, and behind it is the light of the Essence and tongue of indications; so that is Truth’s tongue, not tongue of flesh and bone; Allah guides to his light whom he wills.

O Mufaddal, you understood Allah’s hidden secret, his clear outer, his guarded inner and his high essence. O Mufaddal, know that the attribute is other than the attributed, the description is other than the described, space not the originator, light not the illuminator and power not the powerful;
