I did not cease casting my gaze upon him, finding all the attributes my Master had described in him, and all the names he had characterized, until nothing was left out—I found them all gathered in him completely. Then my Master made him manifest [in different types], and I saw him as a Zanj, a Sind, a Turk, a Slav, an Armenian, a Russian, and a Kush, with all the condemned attributes my Master had described present in him. I said: "O my Master, he has indeed completed all the attributes of condemnation and denial."

Then He—may His Might be exalted—said: "Yes, O Jabir, he has completed that, and from him it [the condemnation] was generated in all those in whom it appeared. He is the initiator of that within them, insofar as they responded to him in what he called them to of denial and rejection, and they covenanted with him upon loyalty and contracted with him to uphold it. Thus, they became part of his innate nature and his darkness—fiery and hellish. It [this state] transmigrates with him in every form of Metempsychosis (Musukhiyya) he moves through; he does not occupy any of it except that they occupy it with him, as long as the Will of Allah is the guide and His term [continues] in the succession of the Cycles (Adwar), as a justice from Allah upon him and upon his party and his soldiers.
