He—may His Might be exalted—said: "O Jabir, command the heads to gather in the place where they were in the room from which they emerged." So I said: "Gather in the place where you were in the room from which you emerged." And they began to roll, one following another, until they had all entered the room from which they had emerged. When they vanished from our sight, my Master turned toward me and the group and said:

"Have you not witnessed them and recognized them by the forms I described and explained to you, and the marks with which Allah has branded them, so that the believers may beware of them, seek refuge in Allah from falling into their place, and withhold the sciences of Allah from them?" I said, and the group said: "Yes, O our Master, we have been shown, we have recognized, and we have held fast to your command regarding what you prohibited."

Then He—may His Might be exalted—said: "O Jabir, all that I have mentioned to you and revealed by its description and attribute; each [individual] descends into what is in it from other races, types, conducts, and crafts. Thus, the craftsman may be a leper, the practitioner may be afflicted with vitiligo, and the races [carry] the attributes of those who were branded by them.
