This is due to the severity of their disbelief, their insolence, their tyranny, their denial, and their following of Iblis and their acceptance of him. They shall remain in that as long as the heavens and the earth endure."

Then my Master—may His Might be exalted—said: "O Jabir." I said: "At your service, O my Master."

He—may His Might be exalted—said: "Tell them to be a mown-down [harvest], extinguished." So I said to them: "Be a mown-down [harvest], extinguished." By Allah, I did not reach the end of those words before their heads began to fall to the ground from their bodies, and their bodies began to plummet to the ground, vanishing and melting away, while those heads remained cast in the courtyard of the house.

Then my Master—may His Might be exalted—said: "O Jabir, tell them [the heads] to return to the state in which they were." So I said to them: "Return to the state in which you were." I looked, and behold, they were the heads of the goats that had been slaughtered in the house. I said: "O my Master, Sublime is Your affair and High is Your power; just now they were humans, and their heads upon their bodies were human heads, but when they fell to the ground, they transformed into the heads of the goats that were slaughtered."
