For his previous acknowledgment shall not vanish until he pays for his breach, his audacity against his Master, and his defiance, as He commanded by returning him into every structure of a type among these races, and every description and race one thousand times, until he completes seventy thousand molds. He fulfills fifty years for each mold; if it increases in one mold, it decreases in another until he fulfills his years.

The Cognizant must beware of the Seventy [Thousand] when he considers the completion of the number of these years and realizes that for every thirty-five thousand years there is a Cycle (Dawr), and that the Cycle consists of five Eras (Akwar). If he recognizes the suffering of his punishment and its hardships and is struck by them, he will turn back from his advance, avoid it, and seek the healthy path of affairs rather than its sicknesses. If he imparts anything of the sciences of Allah to one who possesses these attributes, he has belittled the blood of the believers and is like one who fought them, knowing who they were, by defying the prohibition against them—doing so intentionally, purposefully, and desiring his own pleasures.

Regarding the Inward (Batin), it has been said: {And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, to abide therein eternally}. And Hell is Metempsychosis (al-Musukhiyya). So beware of it, and beware of descending into it.
