On the authority of the Master Messenger—may His Might be exalted—that he said: "Indeed, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has made manifest to you His enemies and your enemies, a manifestation so that the believers may recognize them and thus conceal from them what Allah has entrusted to them of His knowledge.

Therefore, it is mandatory that no believer feels secure with anyone from among those whom I have clarified, explained, and described—even if it were the father who housed him or the son who proceeded from his loins. Even if such a person displays [knowledge] to him, makes himself known to him, and seeks nearness to him via sciences he reveals or an acknowledgment he testifies to, for that is a theft he has committed and a trick he has established. Whoever relies upon anyone belonging to these attributes and descriptions after the clarity of their explanation and recognition, and the prior warning to turn away from them and fear them, has indeed defied Allah, strayed from Him, opposed Him, and turned away from His Gnosis and denied it.Thus, by that act, he has merited exemplary punishment within all these forms and parables, so that the People of the Realities avoid him, distance him, curse him, and charge him with disbelief.
