And [bless] those who follow them from the people of the complete Lofty Ranks and the noble Masters and whoever is affiliated with them, and grant them peace. O 'Ali, O Great, I bear witness that Muhammad is Your exalted Name, Your noble Example, Your manifest Knowledge, and Your brilliant Light, whom You have made a beacon for the servants and a dwelling and place of rest for the believers; his Call was proclaimed, his station was magnified, and he is the Savior of Your guardians, the Destroyer of Your enemies, the Illuminator of Your festivals, and the Rain of Your lands. Whoever obeys him is saved, and whoever opposes him goes astray and perishes. O Allah, by his station with You and his rank before You—for he is Your complete Self, Your lofty Word, and Your Straight Path—may Allah bless him and those affiliated with him. And [I ask You to] bring me to a level of his Gnosis (Ma‘rifah) such that no one reaches it except that they succeed, and no follower attains it except that they ascend. I have acknowledged that he is the personified essence (Shakhs) of this noble day, whose outward You have ennobled and whose inward You have honored. So, by his right, do not deprive me of supporting him, and grant me success in fulfilling his due and ascending in his Gnosis, until I reach the limit of the Realities (al-Haqa'iq), rise into the Kingdom (al-Malakut), and roam in the Gardens, O Possessor of Might and Omnipotence; for You are capable of that, and it is not difficult for You.
