The Supplication of Eid al-Adha

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

O Allah, I bear witness that Muhammad is Your Greatest Self (Nafsuka al-Kubra), Your Supreme Example, the Possessor of the Call, the Initiator of the Sacred Law, the Crusher of tyrants, the Remover of dynasties by Your command, the Avenger against Your enemies, and the Supporter of Your guardians. O Allah, make me among those who know him in his perfection, who do not deny his virtue, and who acknowledge him in all his personified essences (Ashkhas). Do not deprive me of being among the ranks of his supporters when the Shin is uncovered [the Truth is revealed], when the striking of necks is commanded, and when You select those for whom "the best [reward]" from You has already been decreed—those for whom You have made the final abode honorable. Do not strip away from me the Gnosis You have bestowed upon me, and increase my elevation; indeed, You are the Lord, the High, the Great.

May Allah bless the Greatest Master Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad, and [bless] his Gate, Salsal, through whom the cycles (al-Akwar) and the eras (al-Adwar) are connected. And [bless] his Orphans (al-Aytam), the lamps of the darkness and the guides of creation in pre-eternity.
