So He returned them to their heels and swore by Himself that He would return them, in [their] denial, to the place of manifestation and the Call every year, so that He may let them taste the heat of iron—which is the sacrifice."It was narrated from Yahya ibn Umm al-Tawil al-Thamali that on the day of departing from 'Arafah, he used to ascend a hill of the earth and cry out at the top of his voice: {Indeed, we are disassociated from you and from whatever you worship other than Allah. We have denied you, and there has appeared between us and you animosity and hatred forever until you believe in Allah alone} 1 .
O Allah, I disassociate myself before You from their hair and their skins, and from their seasons—except for those who have known You with the true Gnosis. O Allah, I disassociate myself before You from what they say, and I profess as religion that which they deny. O Allah, judge between us and them with the truth, and You are the best of judges.
