And [I ask] that You distinguish us on this day of ours, and every day like it, with the best of what You have distinguished any of Your cognizant guardians (Awliya’); from a lapse You have forgiven, a supplication You have answered, a blessing You have sent down, and a mercy You have spread.

And [I ask] that You make us among those who permit His permissible, forbid His forbidden, and avoid His sins; and that You accept our deeds, purify our actions, and make us among the secure and successful ones {who shall have no fear, nor will they grieve}, and for all the believers; by a mercy from the essence of Your Unseen, O Most Merciful of the merciful, O 'Ali, O Great.
