O Allah, we have obeyed Your command and followed Your messengers, so write us among the witnesses and make us among the guardians of Your knowledge. O Allah, just as You have brought us to [witness] the virtue of this noble day , the great [day], while we are secure in our religion and cognizant of Your Oneness (Tawhid), neither divulging [the secrets] nor squandering [the wisdom], and not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray. O Allah, bring us to the Greatest Festival (al-‘Id al-Akbar) and the most radiant day; the day on which he whose fasting was long shall break his fast and his sins shall be purged; the day on which the believers are permitted to proclaim [the faith] and when Dissimulation (Taqiyya) and concealment are lifted from them. Then, Allah shall not be worshiped in secret, and His Oneness shall be declared openly. There, the authority is for Allah, the King, the Truth, the Manifest.
O Allah, I ask You by the personified essence (Shakhs) of this momentous and majestic day, that You send blessings upon the Gate of Your mercy and the Ordainer of Your wisdom, and upon his Orphans—the lamps of the darkness, the keys to wisdoms, and the guides of creation in pre-eternity.
