seeking protection. O Allah, by the Favor and the Mercy, by Your Greatest Veil, [I ask] that You single us out with Your Major Blessing, which is a veiling for the most faithful of the people of Your Covenant, the servants of Your obedience, and the Friends (Awliya') of Your Mercy. O Allah, indeed in this day of ours You Transfigured (Tajallayta) and uncovered from us the veils of heedlessness upon Your bringing of Your Essence into existence—an uncovering—and Your manifesting the Water of Life to us. So give us drink, O Allah, from Your Pure Salsali Gate, and convey it to Your Knowing Servants—a conveyance. And seal for them within it with happiness and good.
For Your promise is the truthful Truth; that You have had mercy and forgiven. So commence with us a new righteous deed that pleases You. O Allah, unite the affairs of the Believers in the easts of the earth and its wests 1 , its plains and its mountains, its land and its sea. And do not place in their hearts rancor nor hatred. And forgive us and them with abundant forgiveness. And overlook the evil deeds from us and from them. And raise us and them from stumbles, and pardon us and them, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
O You who prescribed Mercy upon Himself, and the Answer to him who called upon Him, communed with Him, and answered Him.
