By the Salsali Gate (Al-Bab Al-Salsali).
I ask You to protect me from calamities in my religion, my world, my hereafter, my life, and my death.
And to turn away from me bewilderment regarding the view of the Opponents (Azdad) and the swarming of the Rivals (Andad)—the people of blindness and blackness.
O Allah, I ask You—by what I have asked You—for separation from him who denied You entirely and belied You regarding the Meaning (Ma'nawiyyan).
And You are Allah, a God, not a deified one (Ma'luh).
O Allah, complete for me Your Knowledge and the action upon what I have known.
And do not place in my heart rancor or hatred toward the Believers.
O Allah, unite the affairs of him who intended Your Salsali Gate, alighted in Your Substantial Courtyard (Fina'ika Al-Jawhari), and became a neighbor to Your Divine Knowledge (Ma'rifatika Al-Lahutiyya); witnessing it as truth, knowing You by acknowledgment, affirming Your Name, being a servant to the Gate of Your Mercy, and seeking refuge in You.
