His Light remains apparent and rising until the completion of the absence (Ghayba) from the disk (Qurs). Then the Light vanishes and does not appear [in this manner] except on this day.

And it is from year to year that the Sun shines by the Manifestation within it. So His Light comes to all the plants, fruits, everything that creeps and walks, minerals, and stones like rubies and what resembles them.

So [a portion] of His Light enters into them, and in it He decreed a new creation.

So Blessedness (Tuba) be to him who knows Him and acknowledges Him, and Woe be to him who denies Him and rejects Him.

And were it not for His Manifestation with His Light on this day, nothing of the plants or fruits would have thrived, nor would a mineral have become a jewel (Tajawhara). Indeed, only by His Vision do you thrive, and by connection with Him do you live.

So contemplate, O Ibn Jundub, the Secret of Allah and His Power.
