The Fourth Layer:
The Master, may His power be exalted, named it Al-Bahmaniyya Al-Bayda' (The White Bahmaniyya).
So the first of its Persons (Ashkhas) was: Isfid, Barjunad, Harmud, Karmasad, Sabur, Hurmuz, Ardashir Shah, Abubak, [and] Al-Iskandar. And he is the one who used to be called Balakandar, as We informed you.
[And] Ardashir ibn Babakan Shahanshah; he is the one who built the cities and manifested wondrous structures within the cities that were built. He paved the ways, legislated the laws, and established the extraordinary principles of religion. He revealed what was ancient of the Persian religions—matters the explanation of which would be lengthy—until the Manifestation of Sabur ibn Ardashir ibn Babak.
Then there was a vast Interval (Fatra) after He appeared, and the Lights shone in the land of the Arabs from the land of Persia.
The beginning of the Interval was from Kisra Abrawiz (Khusraw Parviz) ibn Anushirvan, for he changed, altered, and claimed for himself what was not his.
So the Master, may His power be exalted, necessitated severity upon the Persians. And the Lights appeared in the households of the Arabs in Lu'ayy ibn Ghalib.
