He said: 'I am a servant among the servants of my Master from the land of Sindh. When it is a day like this day, I place this wreath upon my head and say: "The presence of my Master." Thus, I find myself in His presence, seek blessing by looking at His countenance, and hear His narration. Would you like me to give it to you, so you may fulfill the need of your Master and return?'

I said: 'Yes, hand it to me.'

He handed me the wreath from his head and said: 'I am standing right here until the time of your return.'

I took it from him, placed it upon my head, and began cutting through the markets of Surra Man Ra'a. Its people were amazed at me, saying: 'Do you not see this desert Bedouin dressed in the attire of the Persians?' But I did not heed their words nor turn to their speech.

I went out to the desert of Samarra, then I said: 'The Land of Sindh.'

And it was no more than the closing of an eyelid upon an eyelid, and behold, I was standing in the land of Sindh, in the cave. And behold, the people of the land all of them entering the cave and exiting it, visiting who is within it, and greeting me in Sindhi.
