And our Master Al-Khasibi, may Allah the High honor his station, said in another chapter of the jurisprudence of his Epistle, honoring the Persians—meaning regarding the Gate (Bab) and attributing Wisdom to them because of the locus of the Manifestation of the Meaning and the Name (Al-Ism) within them in two Stations (Maqamayn) which were among the first of the Persian Kings: they are Ardashir ibn Babak and Sabur his son.
And they mentioned that within the Persian Kings is a Wisdom flowing until the last of them, and that they uphold Wisdom in the Station of the Meaning (Al-Ma'na) and the Name—and they are Sharwin, Kharwin, and Khusraw—and the Gate (Al-Bab); because they are the slaves of the Meaning, Knowers ('Arifun) of Him, and of the Name, and of the Gate.
And that the Meaning, may His power be exalted, left Wisdom behind among the Persians and transferred from them while He was pleased with them, and promised them that He would return among them. And He is the one who said: "Indeed, Allah the Almighty entrusted you with a Secret, and manifested a Command among you, and granted you success to accept it; but you wasted it, whereas the Persians preserved it."
This is because He manifested among them the Occultation (Ghayba) through Fire, and the Manifestation (Zuhur) through it; and the Light, and the Manifestation through it.
