He stretched out and became shrouded (tusajja) just as he was initially, in his place and in the posture in which I had seen him when I first came to him, as if he had never moved from his place, nor vanished from my sight, nor addressed me.

I said: 'O my Master, the Command belongs to You; You do whatever You will and desire.' Then I placed the wreath upon my head and said: 'Al-Askar, the Garrison of my Master, and where the Indian is standing.' And in no faster than the twinkling of an eye, I was with him.

He said: 'O Muhammad ibn Nusayr, you took a long time.' I said to him: 'It was such and such,' and I recounted to him what had happened regarding the matter of the Wali. He said: 'Oh, I wish I were him.'"

Then he said: "O Muhammad ibn Nusayr, I am in Al-Askar every day like this day. So meet me in this place, closer to you in it." I said: "I will do so." I took the wreath from my head and gave it to him. He took it, placed it on his head, and began walking with me, conversing with me, and said: "In the Balqa' of India..." Then, by Allah, I do not know whether the sky took him and plucked him up, or the earth passed with him and swallowed him.
