And while doing so, I was saying: "Do you think my Master settled me in this place for a state He desired for me?"

I remained in that state until the Wali entered upon me, wearing a robe (Hulla) I had previously seen upon my Master. And behold, He [the Master] had bestowed it (Khala'aha) upon that Wali. The wreath and the Adharyun were upon his head.

He approached until he sat in the posture he was in initially, in the place where he had been shrouded (Musajja). He turned to me and said: 'O Muhammad ibn Nusayr, indeed my Master sends for me on every day like this day. So I attend Him and witness Him. He presents me with gifts, favors me, and bestows upon me what He is wearing. Then I return and lie down (arqud) as you found me, until His time and His day.

He has removed from me fatigue, ailment, and the desire for food and drink. My food from Him is my gazing at Him on a day like this, and my drink is His dialogue with me and His addressing me. Thus, He is my nourishment until a day like it. So take the wreath from my head and join the Indian, for he awaits you until the time of your return to him where you left him standing.'

I extended my hand and took the wreath.
