I said to him: "It is not fitting for me to sit back from His command and what He desires, nor have I sat back, but I am bewildered."
He said to me: "I will tell you a saying in which there is no harm."
I said: "Speak."
He said: "I heard a report (Khabar) from Him, which I accepted, so I come with the report at its proper time and moment, and I find its truth."
I said to him: "And what is the report?"
He said: "I heard from Him that He said: 'Whoever crowns himself on this day with a wreath of Adharbun, then asks Allah for the fulfillment of his need, it shall be granted to him; and he does not intend a matter except that Allah facilitates his intention for him.'
And I am a man from the Balqa' of India. When it is a day like this day, I crown myself with a wreath and say: 'I desire the presence of my Master in Al-Askar.' And in no faster time do I find myself in His presence; I renew a covenant with Him, accomplish a wish from Him, and return to the Balqa' of India. So, would you like me to give it to you—meaning the wreath—so that you may do as I do, proceed to what He commanded you, and return to Him?"
