I wanted to say to Him, 'O my Master, how can I revive him when his life and death belong to You?' but I refrained from answering Him back. So I went out, pondering my affair, how I should act, for He had said to me, 'Indeed, I have a Wali in the White Land of China, and this is the day of Nowruz,' wanting me to revive him. So how can I attain that?"
While I was in that state, a dark-skinned man (Rajul Adam), tall in stature like a towering palm tree, met me. He was wearing a green garment, and on his head was a wreath of myrtle (As) arranged with Adharbun, glowing in his forehead.
He said to me: "O Muhammad ibn Nusayr, is this not the day of Nowruz?"
I said: "Yes."
He said: "Why do I not see you in my attire, congratulating me on it?"
I said to him: "I entered upon my Master at this time, and He commanded me with a command regarding which my heart is preoccupied, [distracting me] from the state of your attire and this congratulation of yours."
He said to me: "And what is that?"
