A Second Supplication for the Nativity
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
O Allah, I ask You by the flashing Light from the majesty of Your awe, and the speaking Tongue from the obscurities of Your wisdom; by the lights of the gleams from the gems of Your greatness; by the clarification of truths from the mouths of Your Awliya (devotees); by the ways of the path from the pearls of Your beloved ones; by the sanctification of Your Name and the glorification of Your greatness and Your Self (Nafs); by the sincerity of the Oneness (Tawhid) of Your Essence.
By the one speaking with miracles in his cradle, and the reviver of the dead from his grave; the Trustee over what is in his loosing and binding; the Truthful in his threat and his promise; he upon whom minds do not alight except as knowledge, and whom senses do not encompass except as understanding. The one supported by the Lahuti (Divine) signs, the one extracted from the cosmic elements; the Lordly Knower and the Spiritual Spirit.
The Manifest as Jesus (Yasu'), and the Absent One raised in space; the one originated from the Lahuti elements; the Manifest One, familiarized with the Nasuti (human) bodies, in the visible image and the Jabaruti (Omnipotent) signs.
