And our Master Al-Khasibi, may Allah brighten his face, cited in his poem which begins with: "I revealed my secret, so how often do you revile me." up to his saying in it, may Allah be pleased with him:
And the daughter of Imran, Maryam, was forsaken 1 ,
By her people when they came with defamation.
Until she brought Al-Masih, our Master,
When he came manifesting with clear proof.
He made him speak in the swaddling clothes;
He said to them: "I am the servant of the God (Ilah), He saves me.
Nay, I am His Spirit—Exalted be He—and He originated me;
He causes me to die if He wills, and brings me to life."
