Supplication of the Mid-Sha'ban Night

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Peace be upon You, O Lahut (Divinity), and Source of the Malakut (The Celestial Realm). From You comes Peace, and to Your Wali belongs submission. I bear witness that You manifested to Your creation with justifications and warnings. So he who knew You, knew You; and he who denied You, denied You. And they claimed that among them was one who slaughtered You. But High Exalted are You above what the oppressors say, and what the ignorant utter, in great haughtiness.

And how could he slaughter You, whom You created by Your power, O my Master, and whom You originated by Your will? And were it not for You, he would not exist, nor would any place contain him. I affirm You, O Knower of the Unseen, that You manifest however You will. And that no rebellious enemy nor denying adversary can encompass You.

To You belong the bounties, the magnification, the reverence, and the honor. I bear witness that You are the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting; You give life and bring death. And You are Alive and do not die; in Your hand is all good, and You are over all things Powerful.
