Our Master—may His Might be glorified—traveled upon the mule of the Messenger of Allah—may His Might be glorified—and it passed beneath Him like a violent storm-wind. We let loose the reins of the camels and urged them to travel, exerting them to keep up with Him, while they were calling out to us, pursuing the mule. It was but a brief moment until the mountains of Mecca appeared to us."
"I said to myself: 'We have arrived from Medina to Mecca in less than an hour; this is truly a marvel!' I began to contemplate the mountain, and it was certainly Mount Abu Qubays, without a doubt. My Master, the Commander of the Believers—may His Might be glorified—ascended it upon His mule, and we climbed up following His trail, then dismounted; the camels were in their final breaths from the exhaustion we had put them through. When He reached the peak of the mountain and we were behind Him, He dismounted, and we dismounted from the camels and made them kneel at the summit.
My Master, the Commander of the Believers—may His Might be glorified—called me; I drew near to Him, and He said to me: 'O Salman, Qanbar does not bear what you bear, nor does he reach what you have reached of your elevated degree; therefore, I shall veil him from what I shall show you.'
I said: 'O my Master, the command is Yours; You do as You wish.'
He said to me: 'Where are you?'
