Known as the Numayriyyah 1 (attributed to our Master Abu Shu'ayb Muhammad ibn Nusayr al-Numayri—peace be upon him and to him the submission):
In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.
Allah is Greater, Allah is Greater than to be defined; and more Majestic than to be described. Though He has unveiled Himself to His creation in the manifestations, and revealed Himself to His servants in the graceful veils—He is Allah, there is no god but He, the Greatest, the Most Noble Lord, the Ali (Exalted) the Primordial, the Bestower of sevenfold blessings, the Creator of the Tablet and the Pen. You have ascended to the height of Your place in glory by Your knowledge, and thus became established in Your primordiality 2 . You revealed Yourself in Your white Bahmaniyyah (Essence), so that no creation among the believers remained without knowing You, and his heart finding peace in the truth of Your remembrance and Your majesty. You made the Stations a veil for Yourself, and the [other] veils as guides unto You—even if You have guided unto Yourself by Yourself, and manifested unto Your creation as [one of] Your creati.
