This is because the exoteric (Zahiriyyah) among the Shia believed that our Master al-Husayn—may His Might be glorified—is buried in that location, and that He does not accept from them any Ziyarah except [therein]. They manifest their deeds therein through night vigil (tahajjud), exertion, glorification (tasbih), and the declaration of oneness (tahlil), and they recite therein the Ziyarat of the people of the exterior (Ahl al-Zahir). This is due to their doubt, their disbelief, their confusion, and their straying, and their attribution of killing to our Master al-Husayn—may His Might be glorified—and burial in that location, namely the location of (Shifat). The men of Monotheism (Rijal al-Tawhid), however, believe in the transcendence (tanzih) of our Master al-Husayn—may His Might be glorified—from everything that the Muqassirah (the negligent/those who fall short) have believed, because The Monotheists (al-Muwahhidah), however, have employed in it the gathering of the brethren wherever they may be, in whatever lands or regions, assembling together and united upon deeds of righteousness. They perform the Ziyarat (pilgrimages) with the esoteric Ziyarat. As for the condition of the Ziyarat of the Monotheists, when they gather upon the remembrance of Allah, obedience to Him, and the negation of doubts concerning Him, all those present in the assembly stand, extend their hands unto Allah the Exalted, declare their disavowal unto Him of what the deniers say concerning Him, ask Him for an increase in the excellence of their guidance,
