Hudhayfah said: So I stood up from the presence of my Master, the Commander of the Faithful (may his might be mighty), and I said to myself: 'If I had not attained from good deeds that for which I hope for reward, except the merit of knowing this day, it would have been my desire.'

Muhammad b. al-Ala’ al-Hamdani and Yahya b. Muhammad b. Jidh‘ al-Baghdadi said: So each one of us stood up kissing the head of Ahmad b. Ishaq al-Qummi, and we said: 'Praise be to Allah Who destined you for us until you honored us with the merit of this day.'

And we returned from him, and we worshipped Allah (Mighty and Majestic) on that day, and drew near to Him through kindness to our brothers and our poor, and we supported them, each of us according to his possibility and the extent of his capacity.

And we said: 'Praise be to Allah, who has guided us to this; and we would never have been guided if Allah had not guided us. Certainly the messengers of our Lord had come with the truth.' And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. And there is no power and no strength except by Allah, the Most High, the Great.
