He said: "This, by Allah, is that day which delighted the eye of the children of the Messenger of Allah (may his might be mighty), and I indeed know seventy-two names for this day."

Hudhayfah said: So I said, "O my Master, I would love for you to let me hear the names of this day." And it was the ninth day of the month of Rabi‘ al-Awwal.

So the Commander of the Faithful (may his might be mighty) said: "This is the Day of Rest, and the Day of Relieving Grief, and the Day of the Second Ghadir, and the Day of the Removal of Burdens, and the Day of Lifting the Pen, and the Day of al-Hadr (Voiding), and the Day of Well-being, and the Day of Blessing, and the Day of the Good Tidings (al-Bisharat), and the Day of Allah’s Greatest Eid, and the Day in which Allah answers the call, and the Day of the Greatest Standing (al-Mawqif al-A‘zam), and the Day of Elevation, and the Day of the Condition (al-Shart), and the Day of Removing the Bracelet, and the Day of the Oppressor's Regret, and the Day of the Breaking of the Might, and the Day of Banishing Worries, and the Day of Conquests.

And the Day of the Choking of Power, and the Day of the Page-Turning (al-Tasaffuh), and the Day of the Relief of the Shia, and the Day of Repentance, and the Day of Returning [to Allah], and the Day of the Greatest Alms, and the Second Greatest Festival of Breaking Fast (al-Fitr), and the Day of the Paths of Languages, and the Day of Swallowing Saliva [in relief], and the Day of Satisfaction.
