And he will distort His Book, and alter my Tradition (Sunnah), and seize the inheritance of my daughter, and set himself up as an authority, and act insolently towards his Imam after me, and deem lawful the wealth of Allah from [sources] other than its proper place, and spend it in [ways] other than His obedience.

And he will belie me and belie my brother and my vizier, and deprive my daughter of her right. Then she will pray against him, so Allah will answer her supplication on a day like this.'

Hudhayfah said: So I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, pray to your Lord to destroy him during your lifetime!'"

He said: 'O Hudhayfah, I do not like to venture against the decree of Allah regarding what has preceded in His knowledge. However, I asked Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to make the day in which He seizes him have a virtue over the rest of the days, and for that to be a tradition (Sunnah) observed by my brother, the Shia of the People of my House, and their lovers.

So Allah (Exalted be His mention) revealed to me, saying:

'O Muhammad, if it was in My preceding knowledge that the trials of the world and its tribulations, and the oppression of the hypocrites and the usurpers of their right from among My servants, should touch the People of your House—[those] whom you advised but they betrayed you, whom you treated with sincerity but they harbored enmity against you,
