Another Report regarding the Day of the Ninth of Rabi‘ al-Awwal

Muhammad b. Abi al-Abbas al-Kharasani narrated to us, he said: Abu Ali Ahmad b. Isma‘il al-Sulaymani informed us, he said: al-Husayn b. Ahmad b. Shayban al-Qazwini narrated to us, he said: Abu Ahmad b. Ali al-Kamanajashi narrated to us, he said: Muhammad b. al-Ala’ al-Hamdani al-Wasiti and Yahya b. Muhammad Jidh‘ al-Baghdadi narrated to us, [Yahya] said:

We disputed regarding the subject (Bab) of Abu al-Khattab, and his matter became confused to us. So, we all headed to Ahmad b. Ishaq al-Qummi, the companion of al-Askari (may his might be mighty), in the city of Qom.

We knocked on his door, and an Iraqi young girl came out to us from his house. We asked her about him, and she said: "He is busy with his family because it is a day of Eid."

We said: "Glory be to Allah (Subhan Allah)! The Eids are four: [Eid] al-Fitr, [Eid] al-Adha, the Day of Ghadir, and Friday." She said: "For Ahmad b. Ishaq narrates from his Master, Abu al-Hasan Ali b. Muhammad al-Askari (may his might be mighty), that this is a day of Eid, and it is the best of Eids according to the People of the House (Ahl al-Bayt), peace be upon them, and according to their adherents."
