So aid us against those who oppress us, turn away harm from us, facilitate good for us, and hasten the response for us.
O Lord, O Lord, O Lord. O Depository of every complaint. O Witness of every secret counsel, O Merciful to tears, O Remover of stumbles. O Generous in pardon, O Initiator of blessings before they are deserved. O our Master and our Lord, You are our Lord, the Sublime, the Magnificent; so grant us victory over the disbelieving people.
O God, we have called upon You as You commanded us, so answer us and [accept] from us as You promised us. Indeed, You do not fail the tryst. O You who said—and Your word is the Truth: {And when My servants ask you concerning Me, indeed I am near. I answer the call of the caller when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me and believe in Me that they may be guided} 1 .
{Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower, the Forgiving} 2 .
And the conclusion of their prayer will be that praise belongs to God, Lord of the worlds. And there is no power and no strength except by God, the Sublime, the Magnificent.
