So stand up, O Ibn Ayyub, return from where you came, and do what I commanded you. Gather to yourself whomever you can from your brothers, and eat, drink, rejoice, and be happy. When joy is complete among you, and they ask you about your doing this with them on this day—while they were not accustomed to it from you on its like—then clarify to them what I clarified, and explain to them what I explained to you. Encourage them regarding what I encouraged you regarding, emphasize to them as I emphasized to you, and promise them the fulfillment of that on my behalf.

And turn at that moment to the One who bestowed upon you the knowledge of this day, and ask Him, through the reality of your knowledge of Him; your need which you intended will be fulfilled. And ask Him with the asking of a creature whom God created, and in Whose hand is his command and prohibition; He executes it as He wills regarding His close one (Wali) and His enemy.

Have you comprehended that, O Ibn Ayyub, understood it, known it, and memorized it?"

I said: "Yes, O my Master."

So I departed from his presence to my home, and the note was with me, so I placed it under my pillow.
