And no retributions shall strike him, nor shall worry pass over him. And that He lifts him from every stumble [for which] he was reproached, and seeks release from it. And that He forgives him every sin for which he asked His forgiveness, having acquired it through ignorance.
And if he has a debt and asks Him to settle it for him, He settles it. And if he has an enemy who oppresses him and he asks Him to restrain him from him, He restrains him and distances him. And if a human plotted against him, He turns back his plot. And if he stumbles, He takes his hand. And if he sleeps, He guards him with His eye. And if he is a traveler, He is his Guardian in his journey and his Successor among his family.
And if he swears by Him, He fulfills his oath. And if he turns away from Him, He turns towards him. And if he forgets His remembrance, He reminds him. And if he neglects His obedience, He grants him success for it and awakens him. And if he is imprisoned and asks Him for release, He breaks his captivity and releases him. And if he is brought forward for killing and asks Him for the freeing of his neck, He frees him and ransoms him.
Yes, O Ibn Ayyub, even if he were in the throes of death, and his term had been reached, his duration finished, and his spirit in the collarbones, and he asked Him for life, He would give him life.
