Mention of the Killing of Dulam, may God curse him
It is the ninth day of the month of Rabi' al-Awwal in every year, and it has great honor and mentioned virtues.
Among that is what the Amir Abu Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Abi al-Abbas, may God be pleased with him, narrated with his chain of transmission from his men to Abu al-Tayyib Ahmad ibn al-Husayn, who said: Abu Abd Allah al-Husayn ibn Hamdan al-Khasibi, may God make his face radiant, narrated to me in his home in Baghdad, on al-Baramika Street at the Kufa Gate, saying: Ibn Ghalib al-Kufi narrated to me from Sulayman ibn Atiyyah from al-Qasim ibn Salamah, who said:
I went early to Abu Muhammad Abd Allah ibn Ayyub al-Qummi, and with me was a group of my brothers, asking him 1 to present a note to my Master Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Muhammad, the Owner of the Army (Sahib al-Askar), may his might be mighty.
So when we knocked on the door, a maidservant came out to us and said: "Sit, for he is [busy] with some of his needs." So we sat for a little while. Then she came out to us and said: "Enter." So we entered, and behold, he was wiping the wetness of his beard and his head from a ritual bath (Ghusl) he had performed.
