I said: "My Master, then what is obligatory upon the knowing believer (al-Mu'min al-Arif) to do in those places which you described?"
He said: "It is obligatory upon him to come to those spots which were described, so he negates from God what the falsifiers said, and says:
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
You are too exalted, O my Master, for human nature (Nasut) to be related to You, for the sky to shade You, for the earth to carry You, and for the near and the far to encompass You. [You are too exalted] for domes to be pitched over You, for hands to touch You, for visions to perceive You, for killing to reach You, and for the edge of swords to fall upon You. [You are too exalted] for shrouds to be wrapped in them, for graves to be inhabited by You, for humanity to be dwelt in by You, and for marriage to be touched by You.
I have disbelieved in whoever doubted You and made You, in his sensing and his belief, sensed or touched, or in a thing, or from a thing, or upon a thing. Rather, You are the Originator of things however You will, and You appear in whom You will to whom You will. So there is no god but You alone; You have no partner.
