And he is slaughtered on every day like this day, and a hundred thousand of his party are slaughtered with him; their blood flows upon the face of the earth. This is inevitable. And he is slaughtered in this spot, and his blood flows into the Alqami 1 .

So stand up, O Ali ibn Ahmad, and be steadfast in that, and reveal it to those whom you trust among your brothers, and rejoice in that. And strive not to be without gathering with your brothers—whom God singled out with the like of what He singled you out with—on the like of this day. And let that day be for you a day of joy, happiness, and festivity (Eid).

And sacrifice (aqir) in it whatever you are able to. And if you are in need, do not forego slaughtering what is possible, even a sparrow. And give to everyone who attends to you from your brothers a limb from its limbs or a joint from its joints. For indeed, he has in that a security from seventy types [of suffering] that he endures in his transmigration (Nusukhiyyah) in humanity. And God fulfills for him on this day seven needs which he does not ask Him to fulfill. And He necessitates [reconciliation regarding] what is between him and his brothers, so He grants it to him. And He does not leave a sin for anyone of those who gathered upon what they gathered upon, except that He forgives it.
