O God, indeed I ask You not to turn me and all my brothers away from this Station except [while being] illuminated, purified, and clean, with the believers from whom You took the covenant and the compact in the First Scattering (al-Dharw al-Awwal). Indeed, You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.

Then you prostrate following the visitation and supplicate for yourself and your brothers; it will be answered, God the Exalted willing.

The Report of Ali ibn Ahmad al-Tabarani The Amir Abu Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Abi al-Abbas, may God be pleased with him, narrated it, tracing the hadith with his chain of transmission to Abu al-Tayyib Ahmad ibn al-Husayn, who said: The Exemplar of the Time, Abu Abd Allah al-Husayn ibn Hamdan al-Khasibi, may God sanctify his spirit, narrated to me, saying:

Ali ibn Ahmad al-Tabarani—who was an elder who exceeded one hundred years—narrated to me. He took my hand while we were at the watering place of al-Ghadiriyyah, and it was the Day of Ashura. So he turned aside with me to [a place] under a palm tree on the bank of the Alqami. And that was on Friday, when ten [nights] had passed from Muharram in the year three hundred and fourteen.

He made me sit beside the palm tree, then said to me: "O Abu Abd Allah, memorize from me what I narrate to you and comprehend it.
