So they came to him, man by man. He placed his thumb in his palm, and water burst forth from his thumb, and he said: 'Drink.' And man after man continued to drink until everyone quenched their thirst. So some of them said to others: 'By God, I have drunk a drink which no one from the worlds has drunk in the Abode of the World in its entirety.'"
"So when the companions of al-Husayn were killed, and his killing was made to appear to them, and that was on Friday at the decline of the sun, and it was the Day of Ashura, al-Husayn, peace be upon his mention, made man after man from his companions sit up, calling him by his name and his father's name, so he would answer him with the Talbiyah and sit. And he continued to do so until he made them all sit up, to the last of them, and they surrounded him. Then he called for the table, so it was set. He fed them, and he ate with them from the food of the people of Paradise, and he gave them drink from its beverage."
Then our Master al-Sadiq, may his might be mighty, said: "By God, a number of the Kufans indeed saw them, and He indeed returned against them repeatedly, had they possessed intellect. Then He commanded them to proceed to the mountains of Radwa, eating from its food and drinking from its beverage, while they are spirits having the forms of bodies, until the rising of the Riser (al-Qa'im), the Mahdi; may God facilitate for us his vision. Amen, O Lord of the Worlds."
