al-Husayn bin ‘Ali. “Except those on whom your Lord has mercy” 1
the Commander of the Bees, as He makes al-Husayn manifest [in a state] where his eyebrows have fallen over his eyes from old age.
The Seven Days are: the Five Orphans (al-Aytam) and the Two Guardians (al-Waliyan).
The Eight Days are: the Bearers of the Throne. And His Almighty’s saying: "Seven, and their eighth is their dog" 2 : [refers to] the Five Orphans, the Two Guardians, and the Protector (al-Kali): Salsal. The Two Hidden Days, in whose nights the moon does not rise, are: al-Qasim son of al-Sayyid Muhammad, and al-Muhsin; when they appear, the full moon rises, al-Sayyid Muhammad speaks, and the moon shines in those two nights.
