Supplication of the Festival of the Bed (Dua Eid al-Firash)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

O You who are sought among the ancients, and O You who are sought among the later ones.

O You who are witnessed among the ancients, and witnessed among the later ones.

O You whose Light the Pharaohs and adversaries strove to extinguish, to nullify His Proof, and to deny His Knowledge (Gnosis), yet they did not attain the realization of that.

O You whose acts of power indicated His Lordship.

O You whose Name indicated His Meaning.

O You whose Throne is in the Heaven, and whose Authority is on the Earth.

O You for whom the Messenger is His Gate, and the Imam is His Light.

Were it not that You inspired the people of Your Knowledge, the people of Your Oneness, and the people of Your obedience, and bound their hearts [with strength] and made firm their feet, they would have inclined toward the saying of the deviators regarding You, the deniers of Your Knowledge, and those swerving from the path of Your guidance.
