He (Mighty is His Glory) mounted his she-camel and said: "Let go of her reins." He began not to pass through any clan of the Ansar clans without them saying: "Alight with us, O Messenger of Allah, for you would alight with strength and abundance." But He (Mighty is His Glory) would say: "Let go of the reins of the she-camel, for she is commanded."

Until she stood at the door of Abu Ayyub Khalid bin Yazid al-Ansari, where she knelt down. She was prodded with a rod, but she did not move. So He (Mighty is His Glory) stayed with Abu Ayyub and remained with him for days; then he moved to his own chamber.

And it was said: His she-camel knelt in the place of the Mosque. He (Mighty is His Glory) dismounted, and Abu Ayyub came, took his luggage, and went with it to his home. The Ansar spoke to him regarding staying with them, but He (Mighty is His Glory) said: "A man is with his luggage." The Emigrants arrived and stayed in the homes of the Ansar, who shared with them their wealth and dwellings.

Following these reports is the poem regarding the mention of the "Festival of the Bed" (Eid al-Firash) in meaning, the saying of al-Sa'igh (may Allah be pleased with him):

How noble is he who accompanied the Chosen One to comfort him

And in the place of the Chosen One’s bed, he slept.
