Is a Messenger and a Proof—so who is there to conceal him?

Upon you [is the duty] to restrain the people from him, for I

See that his affair, one day, its landmarks will appear.

With a matter wherein those of intellect desire victory

Because all people, entirely, will make peace with him.

The Messenger of Allah (Mighty is His Glory) arrived in Medina on Monday—and it was said on Thursday. The Sun on that day was in Cancer at twenty-three degrees and six minutes; the Moon was in Leo at six degrees and thirty-five minutes; Saturn was in Leo at two degrees; Jupiter was in Pisces at six degrees; Mars was in Virgo at nineteen degrees; Venus was in Leo at thirteen degrees; and Mercury was in Leo at fifteen degrees.

So he stayed with Kulthum bin al-Harim, but he tarried only a few days until Kulthum died. Then He (Mighty is His Glory) moved and stayed with Sa'd bin Khaythamah among Banu Umar bin 'Awf, where he remained for some days. The foolish ones of Banu Umar and their hypocrites used to throw stones at him during the night. When He (Mighty is His Glory) saw that, he said: "What kind of neighborhood is this?" and he departed from them.
