He said: "O Jabir, I only meant by 'days and nights' the Attributes (al-Sifat) which He alternates among the people; those of which Allah said to His Messenger: {And remind them of the Days of Allah} 1 . They are, by Allah, together [with Him]. Peace." Jabir said: Then he remained silent for a long while and said: "Those are the attributes of His Attributes in the first of His Epiphanies of His Names connected to Him, from His Elite (Safwa) and His Stations fashioned for Him from His Chosen ones."
Jabir said: "Describe for me, O my Master, the Houses which were fashioned for the Six Lights in the Six Epiphanies, with six attributes for six days, which none have known except the few?"
So he said: "O Son of 'Abd Allah, messengers from among you drew near and were brought close; they connected and reached [the Goal], until He became through them, from them, for them, and with them, and they roam freely within Him. Each one sees Allah in his totality 2 and finds Him within those who are above him and within himself."
