When you have finished with the salutation, praise Allah and laud Him as He is worthy, send blessings upon His Messenger (peace be upon him and his progeny), and supplicate fervently to Allah—Glorified and Exalted—to curse the oppressors of the Family (Ahl al-Bayt) of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Supplicate while the eyes overflow with tears, if this be of the supplications of the 'People of Shortcoming' (Ahl al-Taqsir) and confusion."
As for the People of Gnosis and Insight, I say—and Allah is the Granter of success to His servant and the Helper in what pleases Him—regarding what is obligatory upon them: The commendable act for them is to practice what was commanded on this day of ritual bathing, purifying their garments, wearing the most precious [clothes] they can afford, applying perfume, and establishing the prayer as we have explained. Then follows the supplication that comes after completing this section Inwardly (Batinan). Beware of negligence! Follow the command of the Master—Majestic and Sublime—while consistently maintaining ties with the brothers and gathering according to your utmost effort. Thus, the two rewards shall be completed for my masters, the believers—may Allah protect them: the establishment of the Outward for its people, alongside their realization of the knowledge of the Inward and following its path. May Allah grant us and you success in speaking and acting according to His commands and refraining from His prohibitions, by His grace and mercy; indeed, He is Praiseworthy and Majestic.
