I am the Divider of Paradise and Hell. I am the Proof of Allah over the righteous and the wicked. So, awaken from the slumber of heedlessness and hasten to [good] deeds before the arrival of the appointed term (death). Race toward forgiveness from your Lord before Allah strikes the wall with a gate, whose interior contains mercy and whose exterior faces punishment. Then you shall call out, but your call will not be heard; you will cry out in distress, but your distress will not be heeded; and you will seek aid, but you will not be aided. Hasten to acts of obedience before time runs out, for it is as if the Destroyer of Pleasures (Death) has already come to you, and there is no escape for safety, nor any refuge for deliverance.
Return, may Allah have mercy on you, after the conclusion of your session and gathering, by being generous toward your families and being dutiful toward your brothers. Thank Allah—Exalted and Sublime—for what He has granted you. Gather, that Allah may unite your affairs; maintain ties, that Allah may sustain your harmony. Congratulate one another for what Allah has bestowed upon you, just as He has congratulated you with rewards therein that are manifold compared to the Eids before and after it, except for its like. Being dutiful on this day causes wealth to flourish and increases one's lifespan. Compassion on this day necessitates the mercy, pardon, and subtle grace of Allah the Almighty. Manifest to your brothers and families the utmost of its merit through your generosity and what your capability can attain.
