They entered upon Him, and Salman asked Him, saying: "O Prince of the Believers, why is it that Dhu al-Faqar is dripping with blood?"

He—Exalted is His Majesty—replied: "O Salman, groups of angels in the Highest Assembly (Al-Mala' al-A'la) denied and disavowed, so I purified them with this sword of Mine." The trustworthy Sheikh—may Allah sanctify his person—said: "Dhu al-Faqar is the person of Al-Miqdad, and he is the purifier of the creatures. The Highest Assembly and the Great World do not differ; rather, the discord occurs within these groups I mentioned previously, and the blood falls upon them and because of them."

And for our Master Abu Abd Allah al-Khasibi—may Allah illumine his face—are these verses:

He manifested as a person to mankind, so they likened Him

To themselves, but they did not truly realize Him.

And if they had known of Him what I have known,

In His true realization, they would have deified Him.

So I praise my Master with much praise,

And I know of Him what they do not know.
